Terms and Conditions of the My Referrals scheme 1. For everyone who joins us on your recommendation, you will receive a reduction on your subscription for as long as they remain a customer. The referred account is classed as a customer on an active account, at the time of your discount being calculated*. Referral discounts will only be paid after we have received the cleared funds from the referred party. Referral payments will be made as a discount to the subscription cost of the referring account. On accounts that don't have a subscription charge, payments are made when referral credit reaches a value of £5. 2. Please note that the credit applied to your account will reflect the current product type at the time of your discount being calculated*, for each referred customer. For example, if someone initially signs up for a Teleworker PAYG account, and then moves on to a Business Premier account, the credit you receive would increase from £0.25 to £1.50 per month as per the table shown on our 'My Referrals - How much money can you earn?' page. It really makes sense to encourage your referrals to upgrade their accounts to increase your own discount! 3. The My Referrals discount offer applies to the accounts listed in the 'My Referrals - How much money can you earn?' table only. 4. By taking part in the My Referrals scheme, you accept and fully agree that Plusnet cannot be held liable for your referrals incorrectly detailing your email address or referral details during their signup. Nomination of a referring user by a new user can only be made at the time of registration and via the normal signup process. We can take no referral details retrospectively, after a signup has been made, whether made by your referral or not. 5. Upon calculation of your My Referrals discount, should the amount of due credit exceed your own account subscription amount due by more than £5, we will credit the excess via Direct Debit, or by cheque if you don't have any Direct Debit details. No credits smaller than this will be reimbursed in any individual payment but rather be carried forward to your next subscription payment. 6. Should you decide to leave the service, any outstanding credit earned by your referrals made with this scheme is not eligible to be converted to monetary value and taken with you. My Referrals discounts are non-transferable between account-holders. 7. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a referral at our absolute discretion in line with our Acceptable Use Policies which are available to view from our Legal section of the website. 8. We respect our users' privacy (your attention is drawn to our Privacy Policy statement, available to view from the Legal section of the website) and will disclose to a referring user only the email address of the new users who have nominated them during the signup process. This information will be made available in the 'My Referrals' section of 'My Plusnet' at our website. No other personal data will be given. 9. We reserve the right to vary the Terms and Conditions of the My Referrals customer referral scheme. We similarly reserve the right to terminate the scheme. Any such changes will normally be announced through our Announcements section available from the Service Status page of our website. It is your responsibility to remain informed as to any changes of the service via these pages and our normal channels of communication. 10. By taking part in the My Referrals scheme you understand that we continuously monitor participation and will take action against suspected fraudulent activity in line with our Acceptable Use Policies which are available to view from our Legal section of the website. 11. This offer is not open to resellers of any of Plusnet's services or accounts provided by those resellers. * The 'My Referrals' discount is calculated and accrues on a monthly basis, based upon product type and the number of days that the referred party actively subscribed to a valid product as described in section 3.
