      Connect to WiFi network on Android or Apple

      Connecting devices to Plusnet WiFi

      Before you get started you’ll need your wireless SSID and password.

      Finding your wireless name and password

      The wireless name is the wireless SSID and password is the wireless key. You’ll find the info you need on a sticker on the bottom or back of the router or on a pull-out tab. The SSID will look something like this: 
PLUSNET-1A2B3C or PlusnetWireless1A2B3C.

      Your wireless key might sometimes be called the WPA PSK. The key is made up of a series of numbers and upper and lower case letters.

      Connect your Android device to Plusnet WiFi

      Here’s how:

      1. Click the network icon on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
      1. Select Network & Internet then WiFi.
      1. Turn on the WiFi toggle switch.
      1. To connect to Plusnet WiFi network, select our router's Wireless name. It'll start with Plusnet.
      1. The password is the Wireless key or WPA-PSK key shown on the bottom of our router. Then select Connect.

      Top tips - your wireless key is case sensitive. Enter any upper and lower case letters and numbers as shown on the router and you’ll be fine.
The bars on the WiFi symbol on your screen show the signal strength. The WiFi option in Settings will show the name of the network you're currently connected to.

      Connect iPhone or iPad to WiFi

      Connect your iPhone or iPad to Plusnet WiFi

      Here’s how:

      1. Tap Settings.
      1. Tap WiFi option.
      1. Switch WiFi on. To connect to Plusnet WiFi network, select our router's Wireless name. It'll start with Plusnet.
      1. The password is the Wireless key or WPA-PSK key shown on the bottom of our router. Then select Join.

      Top tips - your wireless key is case sensitive. Enter any upper and lower case letters and numbers as shown on the router and you’ll be fine.

      Connect your Mac to Plusnet WiFi

      1. Click the Wireless icon
      1. Turn on the WiFi toggle switch.
To connect to Plusnet WiFi network, select our router's Wireless name. It'll start with Plusnet.
      1. The password is the Wireless key or WPA-PSK key shown on the bottom of our router. Then select Join.

      Top tips - your wireless key is case sensitive. Enter any upper and lower case letters and numbers as shown on the router and you’ll be fine.

      To check your connection, the WiFi symbol at the top right of your screen shows what's going on. The bars on the icon show the signal strength. The WiFi option in Settings will show the name of the network you're currently connected to.

      If you're on MAC OS X 10.4 or below you'll also need to choose a Wireless Security type. Select WPA Personal.  

      Connect your Android device to Plusnet WiFi
